Description

Combination and oily skin types often have an imbalanced hydrolipidic film, leading to excess sebum production. This imbalance can result in imperfections like blackheads, pimples, and a build-up of dead skin cells on the surface. Revitalize your complexion with the Purifying Peeling Mask. Specifically designed for combination and oily skin, it purifies and exfoliates, promoting skin cell renewal and refining your skin’s texture. Enjoy softer, more radiant, and clearer skin, with reduced imperfections.

Why this product is special:

  • Eliminates dead cells and unclogs pores, improving skin texture and softness thanks to AHA, BHA and hibiscus extract
  • Glycerine and AHA boost skin's moisture levels
  • Smooths the skin surface and reduces fine lines
  • Helps control excess oil production
  • Eliminates post-acne pigmentation

How to use:

Apply the product to clean, dry skin on the face and neck, once or twice a week in the evening and avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5-10 minutes then rinse well with water. A mild tingling sensation may be experienced during application. Avoid product usage prior to sun exposure.

After the use, opt for moisturizers and nourishing skin products, avoiding those containing acids like AHA/BHA, retinoids, or Vitamin C.

Mineral vs. Chemical Sunscreen: What's the Difference?

Chemical filters absorb UV rays and convert them into heat. They're inexpensive and widely used, but some — especially older-generation filters — are unstable in sunlight, breaking down and generating free radicals. They can also irritate sensitive skin. The biggest concern is that several have been linked by scientists to hormonal disruption — one reason we don't carry them at Nuvola.

Mineral filters like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide work differently: they sit on the skin's surface and work by scattering and reflecting UV rays instead of absorbing them. The result is stable, broad-spectrum protection that's well tolerated by sensitive skin, babies, and pregnant women.
