Description

Whether you like spending time working in your yard or lounging by the pool, you might be concerned about how the sun will impact your skin over the long term. This 40g Face and Body SPF stick is made from certified natural and organic ingredients, and it really works! It’s Water Resistant 40 minutes, yet is not harmful for the sea inhabitants, because it doesn't contain oxybenzone commonly used in other sunscreens. Fragrance and allergens free, this stick is particularly suitable for children and those with sensitive skin.

And what's best, it comes in a 100% biodegradable paperboard push-up tube!

How to use:

Apply before exposure and re-apply frequently and generously every two hours to maintain protection especially after swimming or towelling. Avoid exposure to the sun during the hottest hours of the day.

During colder months the stick could get pretty hard as it's made with butters and without water. To solve this, apply it to your palm first and then to the rest of your body. This will warm up the product and help the spreadability.

Mineral vs. Chemical Sunscreen: What's the Difference?

Chemical filters absorb UV rays and convert them into heat. They're inexpensive and widely used, but some — especially older-generation filters — are unstable in sunlight, breaking down and generating free radicals. They can also irritate sensitive skin. The biggest concern is that several have been linked by scientists to hormonal disruption — one reason we don't carry them at Nuvola.

Mineral filters like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide work differently: they sit on the skin's surface and work by scattering and reflecting UV rays instead of absorbing them. The result is stable, broad-spectrum protection that's well tolerated by sensitive skin, babies, and pregnant women.
