Time To Detox: Probiotic Cleansing Balm, 100 ml

Time To Detox is a COSMOS Organic cleansing balm that removes makeup, waterproof mascara, sunscreen and the day's pollution in one step, without leaving the skin tight. A balm that turns into an oil, then a milk

The texture changes as you use it. It starts as a balm, melts into an oil as you massage it into dry skin, and turns into a light milk once you add water. In other words, it removes even long-wear makeup like an oil, but it rinses off cleanly and leaves no greasy film. The scent is a soft orange blossom.

Who it's for:

It suits all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin, and it can be used around the eyes. It's a particularly good choice if you wear sunscreen or makeup every day. Both need an oil-based cleanser to be removed properly, and a foaming gel alone often leaves residue behind.

Key ingredients:

• Pre-, pro- and postbiotic complex: Alpha-glucan oligosaccharide and yacon root juice (Polymnia sonchifolia) are prebiotics. They feed the beneficial bacteria naturally present on the skin. Lactobacillus is an inactivated probiotic that supports the skin's own defences. Simply put, the balm cleans without upsetting the balance that keeps skin calm and resilient.
• Organic sunflower seed oil: the main ingredient. It dissolves makeup and excess sebum, and its linoleic acid (omega-6) and vitamin E help maintain the skin barrier.
• Organic shea butter: gives the balm its texture and limits the feeling of dryness after cleansing.
• Organic moringa seed oil: rich in oleic acid (omega-9). It nourishes and helps preserve the skin barrier overnight.
• Pink clay (kaolin): absorbs excess sebum and pollution particles without drying out the skin.
• Organic aloe vera: hydrates and soothes.
• Squalene and beta-sitosterol: lipids similar to those the skin produces itself. They keep it supple after rinsing.

Results:

In a consumer test with 40 volunteers, 85% said their skin felt detoxified and 70% rated its softness positively.

How to use

Massage a generous amount into dry skin with your fingertips, including the eye area. Spend a little longer on the lashes if you wear waterproof mascara, without rubbing. Add a little lukewarm water. The balm will turn into a milk. Rinse thoroughly, then finish with a damp cloth.
