Solid Shampoo Rhubarb & Sesame

Rhubarb’s tartness, sesame’s warmth — a seasonal reading of the gentlest wash.

A solid shampoo for hair that is dry, colour-treated or weakened, formulated to cleanse without stripping and to leave lengths soft and easier to comb. Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, a coconut-derived cleanser used in place of sulfates, produces a dense creamy lather at a mild pH, while Camelina Sativa Seed Oil grown in France and sweet almond oil replace the lipids that washing removes. 92.1% ingredients of natural origin, vegan, and suitable during pregnancy. Scented with a rhubarb and sesame fragrance, so not fragrance-free. Formulated and made in France, with 7 of the 11 ingredients sourced in France. One 50 g bar replaces roughly two months of bottled shampoo.

Why this product is special:

• Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate — a mild coconut-derived surfactant that replaces sulfates. It lathers generously and rinses clean without the tight, squeaky feeling that strips colour and lipids from fragile hair.
• French camelina — one of the richest plant sources of omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid. It restores the lipid film along the hair shaft, so lengths feel supple rather than coated.
• Sweet almond — oleic-acid-rich and readily absorbed by porous, colour-treated hair. It smooths the cuticle so light reflects evenly and shine returns.
• Glycerin — a humectant that draws water into the hair fibre during washing, reducing the dryness that leads to breakage at the ends.
• Corn Starch — gives the bar its dry, non-greasy texture and helps it firm up again between washes, so it lasts its full life.
• Vitamin E — protects the plant oils in the bar from oxidation, keeping the formula stable with a minimal preservative system.
• Solid format — around two months of washes in 50 g, with no water shipped and no plastic bottle to dispose of.

How to use:

Wet hair thoroughly. Rub the flat face of the bar directly over the hair in small circular motions until it lathers, then set the bar down and massage the lather through the scalp and lengths with your fingertips. Rinse completely. Leave the bar on a draining soap dish between uses so it dries fully.
